Positioned on the outskirts of the village of Sanfatucchio on the Umbria and Tuscany border, Villa Belveduto is only a short journey from some of the most beautiful locations in Central Italy.
Within little more than a short drive, the ancient cities of Florence, Perugia, Siena, Arezzo, Assisi, Orvieto, Gubbio and Spoleto can be reached.
A number of medieval, hilltop villages, such as Panicale and Cortona, are within sight of the villa’s grounds. The nearest to us is Castiglione del Lago, (6kms) a promontory on lake Trasimeno. There is a wide choice of good local restaurants which specilize in Umbrian and Tuscan cuisine.
The natural beauty spots of Lakes Trasimeno, Chiusi and Montepulciano are within 10kms and from Castiglione del Lago, ferryboats sail regularly to the islands of lake Trasimeno. All are well worth a visit. There are, also, a number of small beaches near to us which provide good swimming facilities.
