We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found Villa Belveduto, a beautiful, rambling Umbrian country home. It is superbly located, in a small hamlet, in the hills overlooking Lake Trasimeno, on the border of Umbria and Tuscany.
The villa is set in countryside typical of Umbria and Tuscany, olive groves, vineyards, wheat fields and in late Spring, fields of sunflowers abound. Within its communal grounds pine and cypress trees provide ample shade in the sunny afternoons, space for bar-b-ques or just relax by the pool.
Villa Belveduto belonged for centuries to the local land owning family. It is now privately owned and managed by us and we are pleased to be able to offer three restored self-catering apartments within its spacious grounds.
All have been converted with respect to the villa's past, using only traditional building methods and materials of Umbria and Tuscany. Original features such as fireplaces, beamed or arched ceilings and terracotta floors were all retained.
